A Message from the President:

Thank you to the players, Coaches, Parents and Volunteers for helping to complete another great season for the Wyomissing Area Soccer Club. I know the weather and the field conditions didn't make for the best season but I saw a lot of kids having one heck of a time when they got to play.

From the Pee Wees to the U-19 teams, the club was able to touch over 345 soccer players through the fall play. We had another record group of U-6 and U-8 players. I saw some very impressive little players hitting the fields and look forward to watching their play in the coming years.

Thanks again to all who contributed their time and effort, we wish you and yours a wonderful holiday season.

PS. Keep your eyes open on the Winter Indoor play opportunities and don't forget to register for the Spring Season.

A Notice from the Board

The board noted that various openings may occurs and the election is coming up. Please note that this is the 45 day advance notice. The annual Mtg is scheduled on 1/20/04 at the Wyomissing High Schools Community Board Room, starting at 730pm.

During the past year we purchased our own benches for all the fields, new nets for all goals and a lining machine that lays down a nice 4 inch wide line.

We are planning to repair a dip in Field 2 this fall and put a 1/4 inch layer of top dressing on the two big fields to fill in the small bare spots and help level off the fields.

Next year we are looking at putting in more drainage for all three fields, parking lot lights, and possible lights for the other big field.
